Drat it! The mischievous Tricker-Stickers have escaped from the Book of Little Tricksters, or the BLT in short, and have inserted themselves in between the pages of the many books in Disney’s enchanted library. Can you help the librarian find all the Tricker-Stickers and return them to the BLT? Well, if you can, be sure to drop by Disney Find ‘n Seek and give it a try.
In this game, you’ll need to search though the many books in the enchanted library to look for these Tricker-Stickers. There is a nice selection of books in the library at the moment, namely Donald Duck, Frozen, Tangled, Toy Story and Big Hero 6. Each book contains 3 hidden object scenes which can be unlocked with repeated play. There’s a meter below each scene with a key at the end. Once filled, the next scene in the book will be unlocked.
However, to unlock new books, you’ll need to at least log in daily to get a free book or you could speed things up by purchasing all the books using real cash. You could also “preview” the first scene of every new book by watching video ads. You can do this at most 3 times per day.
In terms of the hidden object scenes in this game, they are not too difficult to play considering that the game is actually designed with kids in mind. Each scene has a pretty lenient time limit so the games aren’t too strenuous to play. However, you’ll notice an increase in difficulty as you repeat a scene since you’ll be asked to find more items within the same amount of time. There are also combos that you can rack up by chaining up the objects you find to maximize your high score.
Need some help with a scene? Well, the game offers a free hint, in shape of a wise-looking star, that you can use. Aside from that, you can also buy items like the Magnet, Bellows and Time Rewind to power-up your gameplay, giving you the best possible scenario so you can get that high score to greater heights, so to speak.
Although the objects in the scene do change with every playthrough, the best part about repeating scenes in Disney Find ’n Seek is the strange yet completely understandable motivation to collect all the Tricker-Stickers. Needless to say, the game provides a ton of stickers that you can collect and each sticker comes in different grades, be it common, uncommon or even rare. Being the masters of escape and hiding, the Tricker-Stickers can be pretty hard to find. They don’t exactly have a 100% drop rate in this game, and even if it drops, the sticker you get might not be the one you need to complete your collection.
That said, the graphics and sound in Disney Find ‘n Seek are pretty good for a hidden object game with a Disney theme. Expect plenty of bright colors, as opposed to the usual dark and gloomy scenes in most HO games from Big Fish. There’s also one noteworthy aspect in this game, and that is the game’s narration. The narrator in the game has some pretty amusing stuff to say as you play and the voice acting skills on that guy is absolutely amazing. He sounds like the narrator you’d hear in the old Disney cartoons.
Designed with children in mind, Disney Find ‘n Seek is a surprisingly fun and addictive game even for the adult fans of Disney’s animated movies. There are plenty of stickers for you to find and collect, and a funny narrator to accompany you as you play the game. Let’s not forget that this is possibly the only Disney-themed hidden object game aside from Zootopia Crime Files and if you’re a hardcore fan of anything Disney, you’ll definitely love this game!
