To start, you’ll first need to select a game mode to play in – either relaxed mode whereby there isn’t any timer and timed mode in which you’ll be racing against the clock to find all the items on the list. Don’t worry too much about choosing the wrong game mode to play in as you can easily swap game modes depending on your mood from the settings.
Once you’re done, you’ll be given a free starter fish tank that is empty of fishes. Let’s fix that by checking out the selection of fishes on offer in this game! There are lots of colorful fishes available in this game including the famous clown fish. For decorations, Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey provides a plethora of options, including seaweeds, corals, shells and even statues, ceramic pots and castles. There are also plenty of instruments that you can add to add to the comfort of your aquarium, such as an automatic feeder machine, decorative corals that add oxygen into the water, and lighting.
These decorations, fishes and various instruments to improve your fishes’ “lifestyle” in the tank are of utmost importance in Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey. This is because each tank has 3 meters to measure the progress of your tank – fish, beauty and comfort. You’ll need to fill up all these meters to 100% to win a trophy. There are generally 3 trophies that you can subsequently earn - bronze, silver and lastly, gold. Be sure to get them all!
Need more money? There are all kinds of stuff hidden at the bottom of the ocean that can be turned into cash. You’ll just need to find and collect these items from the seabed. To start up a random scene, you just need to click on the Dive button. There are many different game modes in Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey, such as Trinkets, Collectibles, Gold Rush and Quick Eye. In Trinkets mode, you’ll have to find all the items from the list (a minimum of 9 items) while in Collectibles mode, you’ll need to try to find 10 alike items! The Collectibles mode is a bit easier than Trinkets mode, but it is very different from other hidden object games as it’s not a mere “spot the difference” type of game.
In the Gold Rush mode, you’ll need to find as many gold items as you can within the 30 seconds provided. The Quick Eye mode, on the other hand, requires you to find one of the 3 items from the list. You’ll get a new list of 3 items for 10 rounds before the game ends. Speed is of the essence in Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey as you’ll earn more points via the speed bonus, and subsequently more cash.
If you need help with any of the scenes, you’ll be glad to know that you have 5 hints 9that comes in the form of orange seahorses) provided for the entire game. When used, a seahorse will highlight a random item on your list for you. You can also replenish your stock of hints for free by picking them up in scenes – just look for the orange seahorse!
